Morgan Hills | Best Neighborhoods | Temecula Ca

Which neighborhood is the most upscale of all the tract communities in Temecula?  It is Morgan Hill in south Temecula. I’m going to show and tell you all about it.  Here we go…

Morgan Hill is located in South Temecula and overlooks the rolling hills of Temecula Wine Country.  Made up of about 450 single family detached homes, the architectural design style is very elegant. The styles include Craftsman, Spanish, and Colonial to name a few.  The beautiful landscaping makes you feel like you are at a resort.  Here is the clubhouse. [B-Roll]

Some of the HOA amenities include a 3 acre community center with swimming pools, spa, tennis courts, fitness center, game room, outdoor fireplace lounge, and 2 ballrooms! 

If you are looking for top notch amenities, neighborhood events, classes and activities, you will have lots of options here.  There is a Social Committee that plans events throughout the month on these gorgeous grounds with views. 

Speaking of views, some of the best lots, like the home my lucky clients are buying which is set to close in about a week, overlook the Temecula Wine Country and the hot air balloons that Temecula is known for can been seen rising over the horizon in the early morning.   It’s an awesome sight to see.  I’m super excited for my clients and their family because this home is perfect for them. 

Nestled around Morgan are very popular Temecula destinations such as Redhawk Golf Course, Temecula Creek Inn, and Pechanga Resort and Casino. 

You might be wondering, so how expensive is it to buy a home in Morgan Hill?  As of today, the first week of June 2020, the least expensive listing is priced at $509,000 and the most expensive is asking $800,000.  If you want to see what homes are for sale RIGHT NOW (down arrow) real time, I have a link down below in the description that will show you everything currently on the market in Morgan Hill and it’s linked to the MLS.  

Now for the bad news.  There are special assessments in Morgan Hill in addition to your base tax rate of about 1%.  The special assessments vary based on the property but are usually in the $2600-$3000 per year range. This is on the high side for the area.  The HOA fee is about $100/month which is an amazing value for the quality of the amenities if you ask me:).
